Hill Stations in India

The Earth Oven: Hangi
Last year while I was touring around the south island of New Zealand on my own, I had an opportunity to attend a Hangi – this is a traditional way of cooking food in a covered pit using hot rocks… derived from the wonderful Maori culture – a culture I am quite fond of and fascinated by. (more…)

I used to think that hostels were just for the under 25 set, but because of the economic downside, more people of all ages are looking for a cost-efficient alternative …
