Featured Destination: Jordan
Jordan was everything I expected and more.
Yes there was Petra and Wadi Rum but there were also the nature reserves and hiking – I had never equated hiking with the Middle East before. And then there were the people of Jordan – I could not get over how beautiful they were, inside and out. The energy that exuded from the children was especially thrilling.
Going to Jordan offered me a chance to see sights that had been on my list of wonders since I was a child as well as explore new interests discovered as an adult.
I wrote a number of posts about my time there. Here they are, all in one place, so that you can experience my entire trip.
The #GoJordan Campaign.
I’m pleased to be part of a marketing campaign highlighting Jordan as a great destination. You can follow the #GoJordan campaign on Twitter by filtering for the hashtag. On Friday at noon EST, 5pm in the UK, 6pm in Europe and 7pm in Jordan, there will be a #GoJordan hour on Twitter where everyone can share their Jordan experiences. If you have a question that you’d like answered during the hour, post it on their Facebook Page. If you have written about Jordan, why not tweet it out with the #GoJordan hashtag and we’ll retweet it for you. Other bloggers participating in the campaign include:
Keith of Velvet Escape
Melvin of Travel Dudes
Michael of Go, See, Write
Dave and Deb of The Planet D
Isabelle of Isabelle’s Travel Guide
Abby of Inside the Travel Lab
Nellie of Wild Junket
This campaign is brought to you in partnership with Visit Jordan and iambassador by Velvet Escape. I went to Jordan as a guest of Visit Jordan but the posts that I chose to write and the opinions are completely my own.
