I am hoping to visit a few places in Europe this Christmas including Berlin. Heard the Berlin Christmas markets are amazing and there are so many of these running at the same time, you are always entertained. I hope it is as good as they say it is.

Hmmm, it’s been about six months since I visited Berlin and I can’t recall the exact street name of where we saw the tower, but I do remember that it is in a very small side street close to where you can see last remnants of the wall in the city. I was on a Discover Berlin tour at the time and I’m sure that if you contact them they would be able to give you the exact location.

Berlin is a fabulous city to explore, but I would definitely recommend just visiting in the spring or summer. I was here last winter and it was really too cold to explore all the outdoor sites. Can I just ask where the location of that tower is in the first picture? I have been to Checkpoint Charlie many times but I have never seen this tower before…

Thanks Jim! Berlin is well worth a visit, but be sure to go in the summer. The winter might be a little too chilly for your Floridian blood:)
