Reasons to go:  Wayanad is a district in the north eastern part of Kerala. Mountains and forests, hills and valleys make it a great destination for hiking. Unpolluted, untouched natural surroundings make for a very soothing atmosphere with lots of greenery and light cold. There are caves to explore as well as a wildlife sanctuary. The landscape is dotted with coffee and teak plantations. The people of Wayanad are welcoming and helpful. This place is ideal for those who really love tranquility in the lap of nature.
