Reasons to go: Zanzibar was a main stay on the trade route from the middle east and Western world. It’s largely Muslim with incredible architecture, food, and culture.
The beaches are stunning, and the water is crystal blue.
Zanzibar is part of the Spice Islands. They produce, among others, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg. The spice farms perfume the air. I loved it!
