Solo Travel offers freedom at any age.

At any stage of life, actually at every stage of life, solo travel can be a ticket to freedom. After all, it offers:

  • Independence.
  • Your own time table
  • No need to compromise.
  • You get to do what you want to do.
  • You don’t have to do what you don’t want to do.

But it can mean more.  Solo travel can be the answer to the unique challenges experienced at different times of life.

Solo Travel for Young Adults
Who wants freedom more than young adults. Solo travel is particularly good at this stage because it allows you the freedom to discover who you are without the preconceived notions or expectations of others cramping the process.

Solo Travel in  Your 20s & 3os
This is a stage of life when big commitments are being made. Big education, career, marriage… decisions are on the horizon. A solo trip gives you the freedom to assess the options and opportunities within your personal values and needs.

Solo Travel in Your 30s & 40s
The family years can be  intense. It seems that as a parent, all time is spent considering other peoples’ needs. Partners and children, parents and friends — demands on a your time come from every direction. At this stage, a weekend away may be the extent of your solo travels but that weekend alone is a ticket to peace, quiet and the freedom to relax.

Solo Travel at Midlife
At this point, you’ve spent most of your adult life responsible to others. Defined by others. Now is the time to travel solo and redefine who you are. Solo travel gives you the freedom to see who you are without these responsibilities. Reassess, keep what you like, change what you don’t.

Solo Travel in Your Senior Years
Time is now on your side. Stay in one place a long time if you like. Be as unconventional as you want. Now you are truly free to eat dessert first.
