Sharing Solo Travel Stories on CBC

There was no shortage of solo travelers in the listening audience on Friday.

The stories were amazing.

Absolutely amazing!

As those of you who are members of the Solo Travel Society on Facebook know, on Friday I was the guest on the Ontario Today call-in show on CBC radio. CBC, like BBC or NPR, only Canadian.

No Shortage of Calls and Solo Travel Stories

I had no idea how many people would actually call into the show with their solo travel stories so I went to the studio prepared to answer lots of questions. But it wasn’t necessary. The host managed to squeeze me in for a few comments here and there but most of the show was about the callers – who were all enthusiastic solo travelers.

There were so many that not all managed to have their say.

I’ve never had an experience like this. I receive lots of comments on Solo Traveler but never have I been part of a blitz of solo travelers telling their stories. I was smiling ear-to-ear the whole time.

Have a listen. It’s really worth it.
