The contrasts of Havana made me stop and stare.

For the past many months, I’ve been giving away a prize on the Fave Five Post. Last month it was Bueno, etonces… Spanish lessons for the street not the test. I’ve been using the program in preparation for my trip to Chile and it’s a fun way to learn Spanish. You can download it to your computer your iPhone or get the DVDs. (Disclosure, I do get a small commission.)

The winner of Bueno, etonces is Jay from Indianapolis, Indiana with comment #1.

This month, instead of a Fave Five contest, we’re focusing on the Stop & Stare Photo Contest.  To the right is the photo that I used as my example last year. The idea is simple. Submit a photo that made you stop and stare. Vote on the photos that you think are great. To see details and over 150 entries click here to go to the Second Annual Stop & Stare Photo Contest.

In the new year, the monthly contest will take place on the Solo Travel Society page on Facebook.

And now, here are the top posts on Solo Traveler in November.
