Because of the schedules are always different from friends or family members, I always tempt to solo travel but…pls don’t laugh, I can’t over come sleep alone in the dark in a hotel.

Kudos! Heck yeah! and a Darn Right! And the fact that traveling to these exotic locales makes us mysterious and sexy to locals within itself makes us sexy. We are a curiosity and interesting. We say our words different and we look different. We are sexy!

“Sex-y” . . . an unfortunate word, in a way . . . (as 3/4′s of it is ‘sex’ . . . though I can’t – only half way through my first cup of morning coffee – right now come up with a better one . . . “Confidence” I think does come with the territory, but equally important for me is vulnerability, the risk of putting yourself out there . . . and maybe confidence is a bi-product of vulnerability . . . risk taking is attractive, whether it be tying a glorified rubber band around both ankles and jumping off a bridge, or stepping on a plane, alone, and heading ten time zones in any direction . . . admiration is a part of it – especially for those, like me, who go for months and months – in knowing that that person has given up/deferred all those things that society is trying to sell us as (in my case) The American Dream . . . I admire people who have looked that particular country-specific Dream in the eyes and said, “No, thank you anyway” and then gone on to Dream Dreams of their own . . .
