Travel Alone & Love It!

Solo travel stories

Travel alone love it fcIn August I tested the waters. “Would anyone like to collaborate on a free ebook of solo travel stories?,” I asked.

I raised this question on Solo Traveler, the Solo Travel Society on Facebook and on Twitter. The response was fabulous. In addition to all the people who showed their enthusiasim for reading the stories, there were ten wonderful individuals who actually contributed theirs. It has been a real pleasure reading them and compiling the stories and photos into this eBook.

I was inspired by all of these stories. Yet they caused me some frustration as well.  I’m frustrated by the size of the world, the range of opportunities it presents and my limitations in terms of both time and money. Ah well, not to worry.  I’ll get everywhere I want to go eventually.

I want you to know that I truly appreciate reader participation in this blog. Whether it is through your emails to me directly, comments left on the posts, guest posts or collaborating on an eBook like this one, I believe reader involvement makes the blog more valuable to everyone.  Thank you.

Awesome book! Just plowed through the whole thing. The general theme is familiar. Although I haven’t managed anything like months abroad, I’ve done some solo travel when I could and there’s a lot of people who don’t understand the desire or freedom to go it alone!

Added your feed, look forward to reading more!

Thanks so much. But I must defer the praise to the authors. I was merely the editor. Cheers!
