Travel solo into nature

Tofino on Vancouver Island.

I live in the city and I like it that way. I am a student of history which is the study of people. If I was to return to school again, I would study anthropology. Again, people and culture.

Yet, what I have discovered as I’ve traveled is that nature is what makes me really happy. This is a new understanding of myself that I will explore further in 2011.

For now, here are some photos of some really beautiful spots I’ve visited…

I really enjoyed your pictures. I could not agree more with the sentiment that “nature is what makes me really happy.” Part of the catalyst to building our Zipline Adventure Park in Lake Geneva WI was to give more people the opportunity to get into nature. Born and raised in Chicago, I did not realize how relaxing a walk through the snowy forest is. Suprisingly it is not as cold among the trees!
