What Matters Now – thanks Seth Godin

From Seth Godin's Blog

The travel we do is informed by the thoughts we have.

Let’s have good thoughts.

Multiple Perspectives
The “Perspectives” category of Solo Traveler was developed specifically to allow me to muse on a wide variety of subjects — to think about trends and issues as they relate to travel.

I try to throw out ideas to entertain, and engage you in conversations on topics that I think are important. It has certainly been a successful section of the blog but I would not presume to compete with Seth Godin and the thoughts of the 70 big thinkers that he brought together in his new eBook “What Matters Now“.

Seth published this free eBook on his blog last week and encourages readers to share it via email, Twitter and other blogs. The book is not about travel at all. But, I would argue, all thoughts affect our travels. Simply by thinking them we adjust how we see the world as we move through it.

“What Matters Now” includes the perspectives of many interesting thinkers of our time on a wide range of topics. In Seth’s words, “we need a different way of thinking, a useful way to focus the energy to turn the game around”. You may agree or disagree with them but each short argument is worth a read.

So I offer it to you here.

I hope you read, enjoy and travel well.
